Baby Club Med ^* was launched in the Club Med Phuket Resort on December 15th 2009 and, is the first in Asia Pacific. For those with very young children, the great news is that the first Baby Club, has been designed specifically for babies 4-24 months old.

Club Med, the pioneer of holiday Resorts welcoming, entertaining and exciting the minds of children, having engineered the concept nearly 60 years ago, knows that happy children on holiday mean happy parents and families.

About Baby Club

From the 15th December 2009, a high level of services and comfort will be on offer in Phuket, with the opening of Baby Club, where the new facility and materials are designed to create an ideal atmosphere and an awakening of sensations for babies, through the discovery of the senses particularly in audio, aroma & tactile.

The award winning Hotel and Resort company has over 40 years experience in welcoming babies, and is now raising the benchmark with Baby Club, which offers professional staff, especially trained for childcare, and with only a limited number of babies under their supervision.

Tailor-made programs for baby, that have been adapted to their biological rhythm, provide a perfect balance between nutrition, sleep and activities. Parents can also enjoy activities together with their baby, like baby massages, baby gym and more.

Children are also the big winners at the newly designed Club Med Cherating Beach Mini Club.

Early learning and outdoor games, play activities... Wrap your baby in a soft cocoon. Leave him/her with complete peace of mind. Every day, throughout your entire holiday, experienced GOs ® will look after your little ones aged 4 to 23 months.

Daytime Activities OPTIONAL EXTRAS*

A typical day in our Resorts:
- 9am: baby arrives at Baby Club Med ^*. A GO® greets baby and takes the time to reassure him/her as soon as you have left.
- 10am: early learning games and play activities to stimulate the child?s senses, followed by a walk outside.
- 11am: nap for the little ones.
- 12-noon: baby is taken to the Baby Restaurant where a healthy and balanced meal awaits. Parents can come along to this break.
- 1pm: nap, rest and affection in entirely gentle surroundings.
- 3pm: outdoor games and giggles with Clubber & Medy® give rhythm to the afternoon.
- 4.30pm: treats for the little ones with a sweet tooth.
- 5.30pm: meet back up with parents for a bath and cuddle.
- From 6.30pm: family dinner at the Baby Restaurant.

At the Baby Restaurant

Put together by a team of specially-trained cooks, dishes perfectly meet the nutritional needs of little ones.

Baby Care Equipment

Feeding rooms open 24 hours a day offer parents a space devoted to preparing baby meals. Available: bottle-warmer, micro-wave, fridge, liquidizer, sterilizer, as well as water, milk, fruit, biscuits, etc. The shop* stocks replacement baby care articles, toiletries, nappies and so on.

Baby Club Med ^* is available as an optional extra (for 6 or 7 days, depending on the Resort.). To be booked and paid for when purchasing your holiday.
Limited number of places. Our quotas meet quality standards where supervision is concerned. No exemptions allowed. Activities are supervised by GOs trained in the field of early childhood.
Nappies and baby milk not supplied by Club Med*.
The presence of doctors at certain Baby Club Med's* is handy for detecting problems, advising, giving comforting therapies or administering first aid. However, under no circumstances can they replace local doctors who are the only ones to give out prescriptions. GOs cannot give any medication to the children.

About the newly refurbished Mini Club Cherating Beach

Thirty years after opening its doors, once again, children are very special at Club Med Cherating Beach, the multi award winning paradise between the lush Malaysian jungle and on the golden shores of the South China Sea – where the mini club has just received a fresh makeover and redesign by Geoffrey Thomas, a well respected interior designer.

The two brightly themed Mini Club Nature activity rooms are named Jungle Adventure, and Sea Explorer, with colours, fabrics and finishes creating an ambiance reflecting these natural kingdoms, and creating an eco-conscious program all revolving around nature and its wonders. The specially written and designed “Jungle Book” carries the theme through to physical interpretation through jungle walks, connecting with nature in the jungle and by the sea.

The Resort adjoins a turtle Sanctuary and turtles come and lay their eggs in the sand from April to August, protected and financially supported by the Resort’s sale of special fundraising t-shirts.

Named Ohana Cabana (“The turtle nest”) after local jungle characters, children are encouraged to explore their natural surrounds through sight, sound, touch and other senses, and enjoy it also from the comfort of their special Club, with its own kiddies pool, rest areas and playground by the sea.

How families are catered for at Club Med Resorts

Club Med Baby Welcome provides childcare equipment (cot, baby bath, bottle warmer, etc.) in the room and special baby zones, at no additional cost

At Petit Club Med®, children from 2-3 years can have fun playing with friends of all nationalities under the attentive care of staff

Mini Club Med® ensures days of fun-filled activities in a group setting for children from 4-10 years

Club Med Passworld® provides teens from 11-17 years with their very own exclusive ‘hang-out’

Eight nights of all-inclusive package at Club Med Phuket start from $3056 per adult (12+) and $949 per child (4-11) from Perth. Other prices start from $3287 per adult and $1172 per child from Adelaide and from $3295 per adult and $984 per child from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
