Pensioner Discounts in New Zealand

Australian age pensioners holidaying in NZ are about to enjoy wide-ranging discounts on goods and services across the Tasman.
A reciprocal deal struck by the governments of the two countries will see Aussies getting access to the benefits of NZ’s SuperGold Card, while Kiwi pensioners visiting Australia will get similar deals via the Seniors Card.
The NZ benefits includes discounts on accommodation, car rental, department store purchases and so on.
NZ government sources say around 70,000 Australian seniors cross the Tasman each year, spending some $NZ131m.
